Curtainsider
The 2nd cover generation with its steel-wire joints has been on the market now since 2003 and has proven itself to be long-lasting and low-maintenance. A compulsory guide guarantees that the joints are always erected, even when loaded down by water or snow. The cover is mounted easily and quickly and is just as easy to open. The side cover equally runs very smoothly, the portal beam is hinged and the aluminium posts feature the ideal weight. The aluminium profile for the Curtain Sider and the Mega Roof feature one of the highest load capacities for profiles of their class, despite their unusually low weight. The roof is easily and comfortably lifted right / left by means of a hydraulic pump.
Since April 2008, there has been a new variation to cover Generation II – Variante II.
This new model of our famous cover boasts new and optimised features. Variante II is now equipped with steel ball bearings in the upper roller channel and with durable, abrasion-resistant plastic ball bearings in the side channel. The ball bearings, now reduced to a diameter of 26 mm, are screwed into the 4 mm reinforced console, making repairs easier.
Both the Curtain Sider and the Mega Roof post have been changed. The upper roller track of the aluminium post has been repositioned outside and fitted with an extra “nose”.
Adjustment of the guiding wagon from the rear is also now conducted via threading, enabling the cover to be pulled out slightly in the rear if necessary.
These are only a few of the improvements that significantly increase the quality and functionality of the TSE cover.
Mega
The Mega Curtain Sider cover only differs from the Standard Version described above in its aluminium post.
The decisive advantage of the Mega model is the width between the external posts of 2,480 mm, meaning that there is no longer any obstacle for loading with skeleton containers right up to the roof. The roof is easily and comfortably raised for loading with a hydraulic pump.
